How to Upgrade or Downgrade Account (only for legacy PayPal users)

Are you currently on a ShopTab plan, signed up for ShopTab with PayPal before March, 2011 and are interested in upgrading?  To do that please follow below PayPal upgrade steps.  If you signed up after March 2011 and using the new ShopTab direct billing system and not PayPal please go to this page and follow these instructions on how to upgrade your account:  http://support.shoptab.net/entries/20022263-upgrade-shoptab-account.

Important Note as of 3/6/2011 - ShopTab no longer allows PayPal to be used for new accounts. The steps below have been updated to reflect how you need to cancel your account on PayPal and use the new ShopTab billing system. If you want to continue to use PayPal you will not be able to upgrade your plan:

1)  Please back up your products by logging onto ShopTab admin at http://admin.shoptab.net and on the My Products tab click on export products and save the file to your computer

2)  Once step above completed, if you signed up before March 6, 2011 please log onto PayPal at http://www.paypal.com and on the main transaction dashboard click on view all transactions and under ShopTab click on detail.  

3) On next transaction detail page on PayPal click on the cancel link and this will temporarily deactivate your account

4)  Log onto ShopTab admin at http://admin.shoptab.net and click on Settings tab

5)  Click on Billing and then click on Change Card

6)  On Change Card page fill out the form and this will be the credit card used for your next billing date (Note - PayPal will no longer be the payment processor)

7)  Back on the billing page, click on Change Plan to upgrade your pan

8)  Select which upgraded plan by clicking the drop down and decide which plan you want to use.  By clicking Update your ShopTab account will be immediately changed to the new plan and the credit card listed above will reflect future billing changes. ShopTab does not credit accounts that are downgraded. If you upgrade or downgrade you’ll be charged the new rate for your new plan starting on your next billing cycle.
