Using ShopTab's integrated cart for checkout allows you to create an additional price for a variable associated with that item such as a larger size or unique color. We also support the ability to create a discount for a product or specific variable.
To use the surcharge option, select the product variable option for that product listing and check the surcharge box as noted below.
Next, designate which variables you want to set for incremental charges.
When the product is selected and the variable chosen, the amount charged in the checkout cart will be noted as the cumulative price.
This incremental price will be noted in your a download of your products listing that you use as a back-up or as a template to edit your listings for future updates of your store.
To create a discount , check the product variable option for that product listing and check the surcharge box as noted below.
Important: Discounts must be placed in the column as negative numbers (i.e. -5.00). If the number is not negative it will be treated as a surcharge.
The discount noted above will default to all product sales of this product as noted in the product listing below. The reduced price will be reflected in the cart.
If you desire to show a discount for a specific variable, include the reduced price for that variable as noted below.
